Livingston County Library to host Astrology 101 event

A special event highlighting astrology is coming up later this week in Chillicothe. Julia Thompson Purdy, president of the Aquarian Organization of Astrologers of Kansas City will present a program on astrology at the Livingston County Public Library .

Adult Services Coordinator of the Livingston County Library, Monica Holmer, says that Purdy will cover how astrology came to be, how to read an astrology chart for an individual, and what the different pieces of that chart mean.

"All the participants will need to bring their birth date, place, and time if they know it.  The more exact they know, the more exact their chart will be.  She will actually help them come up with their own personal Astrology chart and go over it with them.  So we're pretty excited for it."

Astrology 101: Traditions and Practical Applications will take place Thursday at 6pm at the Livingston County Public Library in Chillicothe.
